Photo - Day 17

A performer dances a traditional Korean folk dance outside on a beautiful Autumn day. That is the look of a man dedicated to his performance. I was really impressed...

Photo - Day 15

Ah...Halloween, how I love thee. Here is a snapshot of our All Hallow's Eve pre-game; a few friends over to our place to have a few primer drinks.

And Journey.

Here is my sexy Hermione singing a little something "just one more time". Plus, I think this is the only time I can say that I will post a picture of a Dirty Sanchez on my photo blog. Maybe.

Photo- Day 14

This is what's left of the Balboni Theater on Yongsan Garrison, Seoul, South Korea. This theater was right across the street from my office and one more stark reminder of the fact we won't be here in Seoul for too much longer. Although Humpreys is an amazing base, I will miss it here big time.

Thinking of the kids, today.

Photo - Day 12

I am not sure what this even is, but in my mind, I like to think of this as the not-so-secret-anymore evil lair of someone's super nemesis --and I'm doing my part to make the world a safer place to live and work. No thanks necessary, ma'am. Just doing my job...

Photo- Day 11

I braved the elements (not really true) and the whipping winds of prop wash (totally true) to get this shot.   Worth it.Posted by Picasa

Photo- Day 10

I like to call this one "Rush Hour Traffic." This was captured on my way home after a long night's work. It is hard to tell in this photo but the red-tipped spire in the left third of the photo is Seoul's landmark, the Namsan Tower.

Photo-Day 09

My aerial photography of Seoul is something that keeps me entertained while we travel from city to city (something I do, often). The geometry of the city is amazing and will probably show up in this blog from time to time.

Photo- Day 8 : Seoul Lightning Storm

This is a bit of cheating, but also TOTALLY NECESSARY if I am going to make this blog work for me. With as much as I travel and work wild hours, there are just days I may not get to my blog online, but that I will take my daily photo. I will occasionally have to play catch-up...like today. Eight times today, to be exact. So without further ado....

Photo-Day 07

I was not planning on adding any more pictures of my family on this blog, but this one couldn't be helped.  I am not sure why she does this, but I do know that it is hilarious to me.

Every. Single. Time.

In fact, both her and her brother lie on their backs often in strange poses.  For whatever the reason, this one makes today's cut...Posted by Picasa

Photo- Day 06

I have been here four years and still had not taken a photo of the Seoul Tower that I liked. This one checks that block for me. It captures for me what I love about this city...

Photo- Day 05

This fountain is located in the Korean National Cemetary and as the vehicle I was in drove past it, I quickly snapped the photo. I tried to straighten it but it ironed out all of the photo's charm for me. So, here it is just like I snapped it...

Photo- Day 04 - Korean Ceremonial Guard

I love the Ceremonial Guard against the backdrop of modern Korea. I have always said since my arrival here that the dichotomy of Korea, it's embracing of both the old and the new, is what makes it such an amazing place to live and work!

Photo - Day 03

This is Professor Stitches. She is a whole lotta attitude but underneath is a sweetheart who likes to crawl up in your lap when you least expect it. She is the last in the series of my housemates...

Photo - Day 02

Here is another of my "lurking-around-the-house-with-my-camera" photos. This one has my lovely wife and my troublemaker Dr.Zimmerman, or Zim for short. He is 6 years old and has what doctors like to refer to as a little bit of a weight problem. Actually, he is just a big kitty and a healthy weight, but I totally wanted to squeeze that Tommy Boy reference in there. Tomorrow's photo will probably be of the only other member of our household, Professor Stitchnyonovitch, or Stitches. She's got it coming....

Photo- Day 01

This is my first entry into my photo-a-day. I like the candid moments of my wife invoved in her daily routine. I am sure she hates me walking around and snapping photos but she should have known what was sure to follow when she bought it for me as a gift!!
